Upon arrival, proceed for your domestic flight to Skardu, situated at an average elevation of nearly 2,500 metres above sea level in the Skardu Valley, at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar rivers. The carving, which is in a style also found in Baltistan, is estimated to date back to the 7th century. Next, make a stop to view Guro Nala, Old Silk Route and Rakaposhi viewpoint before continuing toward Hunza. Hunza district represents the northernmost region of present day or previously the Indian subcontinent and home to the historic passes through the Karakoram Mountains. Visit Altit Fort, an ancient fort originally home to the hereditary rulers of the Hunza state who carried the title of 'Mir'.

This day, visit Attabad Lake, formed in January 2010 when a significant landslide impounded the water of Hunza River in Attabad. Hop on board a boat ride over the emerald water on the lake. Next, walk across the Hussaini Hanging Bridge and be rewarded with stunning mountain scenery. After which, make stop at Passu Cones viewpoint, a spectacular gem renowned for its unique and jagged peaks that rise dramatically against the azure sky, offering you breathtaking views. Continue to Gircha village and visit Sost Bazar, a small bazaar built on the sides of the main Highway where Pakistani and Chinese cargo trucks are on a constant move in between both countries before proceeding to Attabad for your overnight stay.

Head back to Hunza and visit Karimabad Bazaar for some local souvenir shopping.

Today, head out to Rakaposhi Peak viewpoint, get fascinated by beautiful snow-covered mountain peak peeking through the clouds and snow shining with sunlight. Spend some time strolling down the gifts and handicraft shops before you drive toward Nomal Valley, connected with Nalter Bala and Nalter Pain through a metaled road. Stop by Naltar Valley to visit Satrangi Lake, Blue Lake and Pari Lake. These lakes are the jewel of Naltar Valley. If you are lucky, you may have a chance to spot the snow leopard of the valley. Thereafter, proceed back to Gilgit for your overnight stay.

This morning, take a scenic drive to Kachura enroute with photo-stops along the way before proceeding back to Skardu. Upon arrival in Skardu, visit Manthal Buddha Rock. The Buddha Rock is a large granite rock with a relief sculpture of Buddha, which probably dates back to the 8th century. It is one of the most important relics of Buddhism in the city of Skardu and was not known to the world until the beginning of the 20th century. Continue to visit Satpara lake, a natural lake with the completion of Satpara Dam downstream of the lake has enlarged the size of it.

After breakfast, visit Sarfaranga Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert. It is ranked as the world’s highest cold desert. Spend some time exploring the desert and not miss an opportunity to catch some cold desert fun with jeep safari, paragliding and horse riding at your own expenses. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Shigar and visit Shigar Fort, known as 'The Fort on the Rock' which lies on the way that further leads to Baltoro Glacier and K2, the second highest mountain in the world. The fort was built on top of a destroyed 11th century fortification during the 17th century and was listed under UNESCO World Heritage site in 2006. Next, visit Amburiq Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Baltistan region.

In the morning, transfer to airport for your domestic flight back to Islamabad. Upon arrival, visit Shah Faisal Mosque, the fifth-largest mosque in the world, the largest mosque outside the Middle East and within South Asia. Next, proceed to view Pakistan Monument, a national monument that symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people before stopping by to visit F6 &F7 Market and Safa Gold Mall for your local and modern shopping spree.

This day, proceed to visit Taxila, a historical city possibly founded around 1000 AD and was the capital city of ancient Gandhara. Visit Taxila Museum and get some insights of Gandharan art dating from the 1st to the 7th centuries AD. Next, continue to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ruins of Taxila. The ancient city was known as “Takshashila,” dated back to 1300 BC and it was one of the oldest settlements in South Asia. Tour the ruins and visit Jaulian, a preserved Buddhist monasteries, shrines and stupas dated back to 2nd century AD which housed collection of Gandhara art, including sculptures, relief carvings, and frescoes. In the afternoon, take in sights around the ruins of Sirkap with royal palace and several temples, one of which has a magnificent ancient double-headed eagle stupa before making a stop Dharmarajika Stupa, one of the largest and most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the region. Proceed back to Islamabad for your overnight stay.

Today, visit Golra Sharif Railway Station, founded in 1882 and upgraded to a railroad junction in 1912. It was part of the British logistics artery during the Afghan military campaigns at the turn of the twentieth century. Next, visit Lok Virsa Museum for a better understanding of the living cultures of Pakistan before some last-minute shopping at Local Market. After which, transfer pick up to the airport for your flight back to Singapore with memories by CTC Travel.
