Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Muscat, port city and the capital of Oman. Situated on the Gulf of Oman surrounded by mountains and desert.
Upon arrival, embark on your journey by heading towards the eastern shores of Oman where you will stop by the city of Sur, an important city from the 6th century being the centre of trade for East Africa. Visit Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve where you will learn and understand the nature of wildlife turtles and their nesting. After dinner, proceed out on a night Turtle-viewing tour to spot Green Turtle, the Olive Ridley Turtle, the Loggerhead Turtle and the critically endangered Hawksbill Turtle with their off-springs.

An early dawn Turtle-viewing tour before breakfast. Spot turtles as they leave their burrows for the day activities out at sea. Depart your lovely accommodation in the late morning and proceed to visit Sunaysilah Fort, a 17th century Islamic Fortification castle before continuing your journey to Nizwa, the capital city of Oman during the 6th to 7th century AD and one of the oldest cities in the country.

Today, spend some time strolling down Nizwa Souq looking for authentic Omani textile, handicrafts, souvenirs and many more. After lunch, tour the outskirt of the ancient city of Nizwa with a visit to the historical village of Tanuf Castle Ruins, made with mud and bricks backdated from about 300 years ago. The village was destroyed in the late 1950s during the revolution of rebels with the help of the British army. After which, board the only Electric-train in Oman and proceed to the entrance of Al Hoota Cave, estimated to be over 2 million years old. Learn about the nature of how the cave was carved by wind and water. The cave also houses species of marine and wildlife animals before proceeding back to your hotel.

After breakfast, stop by Jabreen Castle, built in 1675 and known for its learning of ancient astrology, medicine and Islamic law. View the spectacular painted ceilings, and rooms that seem to spring illogically from different courtyards in the heart of the keep, sport ceiling timbers with the original floral motifs. Next, proceed to Bahla Fort, one of four historic fortresses situated at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar highlands in Oman, built by the Ya’ariba dynasty in the 17th century and the only fort of Oman listed under UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. After lunch, proceed to Sohar, an ancient capital of the country that once served as an important Islamic port town on the Gulf of Oman. Sohar was also the credited as the birthplace of Sinbad, the Sailor.

Start your day with a visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Masjid Sohar and be fascinated by the stunning architecture of the mosque with vibrant blue domes and its four towers of minaret, standing at 80-meters high. The intricate carvings and engravings that depicted traditional Islamic and Omani culture. Next, visit Sohar Fort, built in the 13th century and was known as one of the strongest Portuguese Omani forts that defended the area during the Omani siege between 1633 to 1643 led by Imam Nasir bin Murshid in an order to attack the Arabs that was loyal to the Portuguese. After lunch, proceed back to Muscat. Upon arrival, spend some time visiting Mutrah Souq, a traditional Arab market for antiques, traditional artifacts, textile and many more for your loved ones.

Today, embark on your tour around the capital city and visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a five-minaret mosque and the largest in Oman. Constructed in 1994 with more than 300,000 tons of stone used taking a duration of more than six years to complete. Continue your tour to the old city of Oman and visit Al Mirani Fort, rebuilt by the Portuguese in 1587 and became the first to use cannons in Oman. Next, stop by to view Al Alam Palace and visit National Museum of Oman, showcasing the nation’s heritage from the earliest human settlement in the Oman.

Today, spend the day free at leisure and enjoy the city for shopping or strolling along the beach of Muscat. You may wish to join an optional tour to Dimaniyat Islands or Wadi Shab Cave before your transfer pick-up to the airport for your flight back home.
