• Take a flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost seaport in Argentina. Ushuaia is surrounded by mountains on three sides and adjacent to the sea. It used to be a base for Antarctic whaling and a preparation platform for all expeditions. The town located on a steep hillside, has only a few main streets, along with luxurious hotels, Argentinean restaurants, and gift shops.

• The Falkland Island are located at 55˚S latitude and consist of East Falkland, West Falkland, and 776 smaller islands. The capital is Stanley (Known as "Puerto Argentino" by Argentina). The islands are home to about 65 bird species, including black-browed albatross, Falkland pipit, peregrine falcon, and striated caracara. They serve as a breeding ground for millions of penguins, with smaller numbers of king and macaroni penguins. Dolphins and porpoises are common, and southern sea lions and elephant seals are abundant. Sea otters are found in some remote areas. (Safety is always the top priority throughout the voyage. New Island

New Island (Spanish: Isla de Goicoechea) is one of the Falkland Islands, The northern coasts have high cliffs but the eastern coasts with rocky shores and sandy bays. The New Island group has been identified by Bird Life International as an Important Bird Area (IBA). Birds for which the site is of conservation significance include Falkland steamer ducks, ruddy-headed geese, Gentoo penguins, southern rockhopper penguins, Magellanic penguins, black-browed albatrosses, thin-billed prions, white-chinned petrels, imperial shags, striated caracaras, white-bridled finches, blackish cinclodes and Cobb's wrens.[1] It is also home to dolphin gulls, Falkland skuas, upland geese and long-tailed meadowlarks amongst other species.

Grave Cove

The cove's name hints at its historical depth, with speculation about the origins of its name involving shipwrecks and burials. Today, it's celebrated for its natural beauty and as a haven for wildlife. The area is home to a significant colony of Gentoo penguins, which can be observed in their natural habitat. Photography enthusiasts will find the scenic landscapes and abundant birdlife particularly captivating. The cove's protected waters and beautiful surroundings offer a peaceful setting for picnics and walks along the beach.

• South Georgia has the densest concentration of marine mammals and birds on the planet. Seals, penguins and other seabirds are counted in the millions: at the height of the breeding season, nowhere else on Earth has such a density of wildlife. Four species of penguin breed here: gentoos, chinstraps and macaronis, along with the majestic king penguins whose epic colonies are one of the islands biggest attractions. Albatrosses wheel overhead, while you can listen out for the distinctive song of the South Georgia pipit, the world's most southerly songbird. On the beaches, as many as fur seals crowd the shores, while giant male elephant seals lord it over their harems. In some locations in high summer, the sheer density of seals can make beach landings near impossible. South Georgia's waters are rich feeding grounds for whales. Although their numbers were devastated by the whaling industry in the last century, humpback whale numbers have almost completely recovered around the island, with fin whale numbers also increasing. Blue and southern right whales remain rare sights.

St. Andrews Bay

Over 150,000 pairs of king penguins plus chicks make this South Georgia's largest king penguin colony. One of the busiest elephant seal breeding beaches on the island. An overwhelming wildlife experience, surrounded by mountains and glaciers.

Salisbury Plain

Salisbury Plain is the biggest open flat space on South Georgia, a huge stretch of glacial outwash backed by glaciers pouring down from rampart-like mountains and fronted by a nearly three miles (5km) of beach. Over 150,000 pairs of king penguins plus chicks make this South Georgia's largest king penguin colony. the beach here is home to the island's largest breeding population of elephant seals. there are more than 60,000 pairs, possibly resulting in as many as 200,000 birds at the height of moulting season including chicks, stretching in a wild cacophony from the plain into the low hills in front of the glacier. Gold Harbour

Gold Harbour is a small bay enclosed by the foothills of the Salvesen Mountains and is one of the loveliest landing sites in all of South Georgia. Observe a colony of 25,000 pairs of king penguins and large numbers of elephant seals. Gaze in awe at the Bertrab Glacier and snowy peaks of Salvesen Mountains. Hike to Gold Head to look down on soaring light-mantled albatross.

Cooper Bay

Lying near the southern tip of South Georgia, Cooper Bay is a charmingly green landing site. It has a relatively sheltered location, meaning that it often avoids the worst of South Georgia's weather. Home of South Georgia's only macaroni penguin colony accessible by land rather than zodiac cruise. All four of the island's penguin species found here, including South Georgia's largest chinstrap colony.

Right Whale Bay

Right Whale Bay is on South Georgia's northeast coast, making it a popular call for many expedition cruise ships first arriving at the island. There is plenty of wildlife here. Home to a colony of 25,000 pairs of king penguins. A beach dense with fur seals at the height of the summer breeding season. Nesting site for light-mantled albatross.

Willis Islands

The Willis Islands are a small archipelago to the west of South Georgia, the group of island include Main island, Trinity Island and Verdant Island etc. is home to an abundance of wildlife and an important turtle nesting site.

Fortuna Bay

Fortuna Bay is located on the north shores of South Georgia, surrounded by rugged mountainous beauty and teeming wildlife. A nature photographer’s dream come true, this site’s varying tundra and curious penguins will likely provide some of the best pictures of your voyage. This is a great spot for viewing icebergs and is also home to healthy populations of king penguin, Antarctic fur seal, elephant seal, brown skua, giant petrel, and Antarctic tern.

Hercules Bay

Hercules Bay lies 1 nautical mile west-northwest of Cape Saunders along the north coast of South Georgia. It was named by Norwegian whalers after the Hercules (or Herkules), a whale catcher which had visited the bay. The home of King penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus), macaroni penguins (Eudyptes chrysolophus), and Antarctic fur seal (Arctocephalus gazella)

Grytviken

The old whaling station of Grytviken is the historic heart of South Georgia. Visitors here can raise a toast at the grave of the great polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, send a postcard from one of the most remote places on earth, or simply wander the rusting ruins of a once bloody past and see how South Georgia's wildlife is reclaiming this place for itself.

Prion Island

The island has been designated as a Specially Protected Area by the South Georgia Government, due to its rat-free status and breeding wandering albatrosses. Access is by permit, in that the island must be specifically named on the visit application and permit. A boardwalk with two viewing platforms was built in February/March 2008 to prevent erosion of the access gully and trampling of prion burrows. Wandering Albatross population counts are conducted annually. Due to being rat-free, it is a breeding area for South Georgia pipits and burrowing petrels.

Cuverville Island

Cuverville island (south latitude 64°40' S, and west longitude 62°37' W) is a home to large colony of Gentoo penguins. Due to its shallow area, the floating ice often becomes trapped and forms magnificent icebergs. As a naturally black rocky island, it peacefully rests in the Errera Channel between the north of Ronge Island and Acatoski Peninsula. Along the shoreline, one can perceive black reefs brushed by sea water.

Neko Harbour

Neko Harbour, a concentrated habitat for Gentoo Penguins and a sanctuary for Argentine refugees, lies peacefully in Andvord Bay, embraced by hills and protected by magnificent glaciers. Nestled in the peaceful Andvord Bay embraced by majestic hills, serves as a special reserve for minke whales. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the lofty Andvord Bay and Antarctic Peninsula. Neko Harbour is alos one of the few points to set foot on the Antarctic land.

Paradise Harbour

Paradise Harbour truly deserves its name with its enchanting and captivating beauty. As Zodiac gracefully navigates through the channel, a sense of remarkable tranquility embraces the surroundings. The only sounds that break the silence are the gentle popping of thousands of bursting bubbles and the occasional crash of floating ice as we glide past melting icebergs. Surrounded by a serene and awe-inspiring landscape where mountains and glaciers reflect off the calm waters, offering a perfect opportunity to embrace the peace and stillness of Antarctica. When the sun graces the scene, the breathtaking beauty becomes truly indescribable. During your visit, take the opportunity to explore Almirante Brown, an Argentine research station, and Gonzalez Videla, a Chilean research station, as well as the adjacent penguin habitats.

Port Lockroy

Built in 1941, this port was originally established as a British base but was abandoned in 1962. In 1996, it was transformed into a museum by the “Antarctic Heritage Foundation.” The presence of nesting Gentoo Penguins around the port creates a unique and picturesque sight. The museum features a shop where visitors can purchase souvenirs, clothing, and postcards. In addition to postal services, the shop offers first-day covers and rare Antarctic postmarks. All mail sent from Port Lockroy will receive a special postmark and enjoy free postage.

Brown Bluff

Brown Bluff is a sanctuary for the breeding of Adelie Penguins, Gentoo Penguins, black-backed gulls, and cape petrels, as well as a habitat for Weddle Seals. The experiences crew will provide you with guidance on the best times to capture the amusing behavior of the Adelie Penguins.

Deception Island

An horseshoe-shaped island with an active volcano. The island has experienced several eruptions, notably in 1960, 1969, and 1970. In the early 20th century, the island served as a whaling base, with remnants of the whaling industry, such as giant oil storage buckets, still visible at the Whale Bay. The British established base B on the island for monitoring German activities during World War II, including the construction of hangars. This is the last stop in the South Pole expedition, the Whale Bay offers an opportunity to enjoy polar swimming due to its relatively warm water temperature caused by the island’s active volcano.  

Lemaire Channel

Measuring only 11,000 meters in length and 16,000 meters in width, is one of most picturesque sea lanes in Antarctica. The channel’s beauty is truly awe-inspiring and the unique atmosphere created by the clouds adds and extra layer of charm to this magnificent and captivation channel.

Petermann Island

Petermann Island is the most scenic spot along the Penola Channel, where you can admire the scene of whales swimming through floating ice. Observe the unique sights of Adelie Penguin colonies and a thriving empire of cormorants.

Wilhelmina Bay

Surrounded by lofty hills and deep glaciers on the Antarctic peninsula. This Bay serves as a dining area for whales and seals, and in the past, it was a popular destination for whale hunters. If the surrounding condition permitted, you may have the opportunity to observe the remnants of a depleted whaling boat up close from our polar boat.

Antarctic Sound

It is a body of water about 30 nautical miles long and from 7 to 12 nautical miles wide, separating the Joinville Island group from the northeast end of the Antarctic Peninsula. The sound was named by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition under Otto Nordenskjöld for the expedition ship Antarctic which in 1902, under the command of Carl Anton Larsen, was the first vessel to navigate it. We may visit Isla Melchior、Punta Portal or Isla Pleneau.

• After breakfast, we will visit the urban of Buenos Aires including the Plaza del Congreso, which houses the “0 km” mileposts of all national roads in Argentina, and Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world, and the iconic Obelisk, a symbol of Buenos Aires. Other highlights include the May Pyramid, Colon Theatre (one of the Three most prestigious theatres), the Port of Boca (the birthplace of Tango), and the Eva Peron Cemetery.
